Oklahoma Does Something Right

A new Oklahoma law which goes into effect this August will allow craft breweries to sell full-strength beer straight from the brewery. Under the previous outdated law, breweries in the state were limited to only serving 3.2 beer. This is expected to have a major impact on the craft brewing industry in Oklahoma.

According to the Brewer's Association, the craft brewing industry contributed over $55 billion to the U.S. economy in 2014. Between breweries, wholesalers and retailers, the industry provided 424,000 jobs. In Texas alone, craft beer contributed over $5 billion to the state's economy. Here's the economic impact.

It went up to $2.04, but tonight regular unleaded gasoline is selling for $2.01 a gallon in Broken Arrow.
